What’s that? Your dog has a birthday coming up and you have nothing planned?! Well, lucky for you, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Here are 5 paw-fect things to plan for your perfect pooch. Number 1: a cake. I usually do doggy ice cream, but here is the canine cake recipe I sometimes use.
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup your dog’s favorite meat pinched into tiny bits
1 crunchy treat of your choice
DIRECTIONS:
combine ingredients into a medium bowl. shape into a cake. crumble your crunchy treat on top and put in fridge until you are ready to celebrate.
Number 2: presents. I’m building my dog her own little area to play in, but if you don’t have that kind of time or materials, anything you think your dog would like will do. Number 3: decorations, duh! I recommend putting paw prints on the wall, but it’s up to you. Number 4: puppy party games. Go outside and play fetch. Do a toy scavenger hunt. It doesn’t matter the game, as long as your dog is having fun. And number 5, party favors. I’m assuming that if you do end up having a pup party, you would invite friends that have dogs. I’d toss in some treats, a doggy bandana, and, really, anything that catches your eye that’s small. I hope my tips help you provide a party suitable for your pup, and I will catch you next time I blog. Tell your dog I said happy birthday!
